After you hit the submit button at the bottom of the application form, our system
will check the database for any problems with the information that you have provided. For instance,
if you try to move into an occupied address, or if someone else is using the member name you entered, then
you will get an error message explaining the problem. If you get this message, please read it carefully
to determine which of your entries did not work. Use the "back" button on your browser to correct
the entry and submit your application again. When there are no more problems with your application,
you will see the information repeated for you to verify its accuracy. Read it all again (please re-check
your E-mail address) and hit the "accept" button at the bottom of the page. You will then
see a nice welcome letter with more information about GeoCities. Within a few minutes, you should receive
an E-mail with your password and instructions for moving in to your new residence.

How many free Home Pages can I have in GeoCities?
Part of your responsibility as a resident of GeoCities is to keep your home page fresh and exciting. If
your original page is kept current, and is consistent with the theme of the neighborhood, you may apply for a
second GeoCities address, if and only if you have a second E-mail address. There is no way for our database
to assign separate GeoCities addresses to the same E-mail address.
